BMM is proud to have “Marathi Shala” as a premier project in North America. All BMM member Mandal has undertaken the initiative of “Marathi Language Learning” and they are conducting “Shala” classes locally. The enrollment to Marathi Shala is open to all students. BMM highly recommends parents of Marathi Shala students to support and become general members of the local Maharashtra/Marathi Mandal but it’s not mandatory.
BMM Shala has developed five-level “Marathi Language Learning” progressive curriculum, study guidelines, and supporting materials. These are approved in collaboration with Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. The students are awarded the BMM BV joint certificates for “Marathi Bhasha” exams after successful completion of each level and passed criteria.
Exam Fees: All Levels; Internal students $25 per student and External students $35 per student.
