Sona did her schooling from various cities in Maharashtra and finished her college education and Masters of Commerce from the University of Pune. She has been actively involved with Phoenix Metro Maharashtra Mandal (PMMM) in different capacities over 15+ years and currently is a member of the Advisory Board for PMMM. She is a coordinator and one of the founder members of PMMM Marathi Shala.
Sona joined BMM Executive Committee in 2013-2015 and supported with contribution for BMM Marathi Shala. She was BMM Secretary during 2015-2017 and continued her association with BMM after 2017 as a member of BMM Marathi shala core committee. Sona has been actively involved in Charitable organizations from India and locally. She is an avid reader and traveling, various languages, arts & crafts are her hobbies.
